Staff

Pastor Bill has been the Senior Pastor of Grace Church, Calvary Chapel Amarillo, since 1985. Bill’s number one focus has always been to feed God’s people with God’s word. Bill and his wife Cindy have been married for 35 years and they have 3 grown children, as well as 5 grandchildren. Bill enjoys various outdoor activities such as riding his motorcycle, camping, and working in the yard with his wife. His greatest hobby is reading the Word of God.

Pastor Ron has been on staff with Grace Church since November, 2000. Ron manages the daily comings and goings of Grace among a multitude of other tasks. As Administrator, he is active in the financial, pastoral, spiritual, and practical work of our body. He is an indispensable element to our Radio Ministry, Finances, and Worship Teams. Ron is married to Karen Wade and they have multiple children and grandchildren. Ron enjoys the outdoors, racquetball, and is a musician of high caliber. 

Mary has been on staff at Grace since July of 2005. She oversees our office, office volunteers, the CD ministry, and a multitude of other responsibilities. She attended and graduated Calvary Chapel Bible College in California and England. She is married to Dave Venable and they have 1 son, Brayden, both of whom she enjoys greatly. She also loves spending time with family and friends and is an avid reader.

Pastor James has been a staff member of Grace Church since October, 2003. James is serving as Youth Pastor and is also overseeing the College Ministry of Grace along with other Pastoral duties. James attended and graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrietta, California. He is married to Nellie Grizzle and they have 4 children. James likes to play sports, guitar, and enjoys reading. 

Pastor Doug has been on staff since September, 2005. He is currently Overseeing the Worship, Home Fellowships, and Media Ministries, along with other Pastoral Duties. Doug attended and graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College in California, England, and Spain. He is married to Kimberly Gehm. Doug enjoys reading, cold weather, and sports.

Doug has been on staff at Grace since October 2007. His main focus in ministry is providing Biblical Counsel to those searching or in need. He also functions in other pastoral roles here at Grace as the needed. Doug is a retired policeman of 25 years from the Denver Police Department. He also served with Exchanged Life Ministries for 3 years. He is married to Cheryl Gehm and they have 4 children. His thoroughly enjoys reading. 

Pastor Scott has been an Associate Pastor at Grace since July of 2005. He is currently overseeing the Ushers, Security, and Greeting Teams. He also coordinates Hospital Visitation along with other pastoral duties. Scott is married to Beverly and has 7 children. Pastor Scott attended North Texas State University and West Texas State University. He was a member of the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1951-1959. He owned his own Business, Vitel Communications, from 1984-2011. Among these accolades, Pastor Scott was also a Golden Gloves Boxing Champion -Bantam Weight. Pastor Scott’s enjoys Gun collecting, target shooting, and studying his Bible.

Sue has been on staff with Grace since June, 2007. She is currently serving as our Children’s Ministry Director in our Treehouse Children’s Ministry. Sue has a degree in elementary education from Eastern New Mexico University, and has served in multiple capacities with children. She enjoys reading, prayer, and watching Football, Basketball, and Tennis. 

Jered has been a member of our Staff since September, 2007. He is currently serving our body with a multitude of building projects and facility maintenance among other duties. He is married to Regina Mills, and they have 3 beautiful children. Jered attended and graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrietta, California. He enjoys fellowship with friends, shooting bows, hunting, and fishing.

Trey Stafford  has been on staff at Grace since May, 2011. He is currently working with the youth as a worship leader and teacher, along with other church responsibilities. Trey attended and graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrietta, California. He enjoys camping and golfing.
